{tit}{cp}5% SUPERCHARGED OVERDRIVE BALANCERS HSV GTS VF V8 6.2L LSA Supercharger overdrive harmonic balancer upgrade kit is designed to enhance the LSA supercharged engine. The Powerbond overdrive harmonic balancer kit produces excellent horsepower and torque improvements over the factory level of boost and supercharger RPM. This harmonic balancer kit will increase boost by raising the RPM of your supercharger by overdriving it from the harmonic balancer. This kit does not replace the driven supercharger pulley on the supercharger snout. Testing has shown over 40 rear wheel horsepower improvement and over 3.5 lbs of boost with the 10% overdrive balancer pulley installed with the stock supercharger pulley on an otherwise stock engine. With tuning the overdrive harmonic balancer can be used alone. However further gains are possible with an upgraded fuel system and a supercharger driven pulley upgrade kit for higher boost levels. Ford slows rate of cash burn in posting $1.4 billion net loss
Fri, 24 Apr 2009Ford Motor Co., the only U.S. automaker operating without federal bailout loans, burned through $3.7 billion in cash during the first quarter in posting its fourth straight quarterly loss. Ford slowed the burn rate from the fourth quarter of 2008, when cash declined by $5.5 billion.

And here it is – the Toyota FCV Concept. The FCV Concept points clearly at Toyota’s first proper production fuel cell car – expected to hit Toyota showrooms in 2015 – and Toyota are keen we realise that, subject to a refuelling infrastructure, the hydrogen-powered FCV is just like owning a regular ICE car.

We still haven’t seen the Hyundai Veloster Turbo arrive in the UK (although it’s not far off) yet the rumours are already growing that Hyundai are preparing a more powerful Turbo ‘R’ version. Motor Authority have been chatting with Hyundai in the US who seem to be saying there’s room for the Veloster Turbo to get more powerful and more dynamic.
